Trophico Development Center is a Study Center under the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This center plays an important role as a center for in-depth research, professional training, educational seminars, and providing comprehensive health services and promotion to the community.

- 01. Establish cooperation in education, research, and community service with stakeholders (academics, government, industry, and community) both nationally and internationally
- 02. Develop national policies through the enhancement of Higher Education Tridharma
- 03. Develop international standard scientific publications in the field of tropical health
- 04. Improve knowledge and skills in public health to solve problems in tropical areas
