Medan – FKM USU: The Tropico Development Center (TDC) FKM USU conducted a training session on “Writing Epidemiological Bulletins and Spatial Health Analysis Using QGIS” on November 3–4, 2025, at Room E103, Building E, 1st Floor, FKM USU. The training was attended by 12 participants from the Medan Health Quarantine Center (BBKK). The event featured four speakers, namely Dr. Sri Novita Lubis, S.K.M., M.Kes.; Winni R.E. Tumanggor, S.K.M., M.P.H.; Arifa Masyitah Panjaitan, S.K.M., M.Kes.; and Izzah Dienillah Saragih, S.K.M., M.Epid. The objective was to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in preparing epidemiological bulletins and conducting spatial health analysis using the QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System) application. After the training, participants are expected to be able to prepare effective epidemiological publications and utilize QGIS technology for spatial analysis and disease mapping, thereby supporting improvements in the quality of health data and analysis for the community.
