Medan – The Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs at the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), for the 2026–2031 term were officially inaugurated by USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the USU Student Center.

During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Sri Novita Lubis, S.K.M., M.Kes. was appointed as Head of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, with dr. Rusmalawaty, M.Kes. serving as Secretary of the Study Program.

For the Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program, Dr. Ernawati Nasution, S.K.M., M.Kes. was inaugurated as Head of the Study Program, accompanied by Dr. Fitri Ardiani, S.K.M., M.P.H. as Secretary of the Study Program.

Meanwhile, Dr. Drs. R. Kintoko Rochadi, M.K.M. was appointed as Head of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Public Health Science. Dr. Arfah Mardiana Lubis, M.Psi. was inaugurated as Secretary of the Master's Program, while Dr. Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes. was appointed as Secretary of the Doctoral Program.

In his remarks, the USU Rector emphasized the importance of adapting to technological advancements in the learning process. He highlighted the need to optimize the use of technology to create effective, innovative, and relevant learning experiences that meet the needs of today's students.

The Rector also encouraged the newly inaugurated academic leaders to foster a collaborative work culture in carrying out their responsibilities.

This inauguration marks an important milestone for the Faculty of Public Health at USU as it continues its commitment to promoting adaptive academic governance, innovative learning, and high-quality education.
