Description

The Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU), proudly announces the opening of applications for the 3T Regional Scholarship (Tertinggal, Terdepan, Terluar) for the Academic Year 2024.
This scholarship aims to support active students from remote and underdeveloped regions (3T areas) in pursuing higher education and contributing to regional development through improved human resource quality.

Application Period

April 19 – 27, 2024

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Active USU students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Diploma IV, or Diploma III programs (minimum 2nd and maximum 6th semester for Bachelor’s/Diploma IV; maximum 4th semester for Diploma III).
  2. Minimum GPA of 2.75.
  3. Must come from a 3T region (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost areas) as defined in Presidential Regulation No. 63 of 2020.
  4. Must come from an economically disadvantaged family (priority given to students registered under DTKS – Ministry of Social Affairs).
  5. Not currently receiving other scholarships, employed, or under any institutional bond.
  6. Possessing non-academic achievements (if applicable).

Required Documents

  1. Copy of Student ID Card (KTM) or academic portal screenshot.
  2. Copy of Latest Study Result Card (KHS).
  3. Copy of Family Card (KK).
  4. Domicile letter from local village office.
  5. Certificate of registration under DTKS or participation in PKH/KKS programs.
  6. Photos of residence (front, living room, kitchen).
  7. Parent/guardian income statement.
  8. Certificate of social or organizational involvement (if any).
  9. Certificate of non-academic achievement (if any).
  10. Declaration form stating not receiving other scholarships.
  11. Faculty verification sheet (student affairs section).
  12. Document checklist (available in link below).

Selection Stages

  1. Registration: April 22 – 27, 2024
  2. Document Verification: April 28 – 30, 2024
  3. Announcement of Document Selection Results: May 1, 2024
  4. Interview Stage: May 2 – 3, 2024
  5. Final Announcement: May 7, 2024
  6. Bank Account Submission: May 8 – 10, 2024
  7. Scholarship Disbursement: May 20, 2024

Scholarship Components

  • Quota: 12 students from all faculties under the regular admission path
  • Scholarship Amount: Rp 3,000,000/student/semester for one academic year
