Medan-FKM USU: Universitas Sumatera Utara officially inaugurated the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) USU for the 2026–2031 term in a solemn ceremony held at the USU Student Center on Monday, (4 May 2026).The inauguration was led directly by the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. During the ceremony, Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M.Kes. was officially inaugurated as Dean of the Faculty of Public Health USU, accompanied by Sri Rahayu Sanusi, S.K.M., M.Kes., Ph.D. as Vice Dean I, Dr. Isyatun Mardhiyah Syahri, S.K.M., M.Kes. as Vice Dean II, and Dr. Sri Malem Indirawati, S.K.M., M.Si. as Vice Dean III.The inauguration was also attended by university leaders, members of the academic community, and invited guests. In his remarks, the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, emphasized that change is inevitable and must be addressed adaptively by higher education institutions. He stated that every era experiences significant changes, ranging from technological developments and climate change to global disruption. Therefore, universities must stand at the forefront in responding to these changes in a swift, accurate, and relevant manner to meet future needs.
