Medan – FKM USU: FKM USU officially conferred degrees upon 31 graduates during the Judicial Graduation Ceremony for the Third Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, held at the FKM USU Auditorium on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The graduates consisted of 26 students from the Undergraduate Program in Public Health, four from the Master's Program in Public Health Sciences, and one from the Doctoral Program in Public Health Sciences. The ceremony was officially opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M.Kes., who had been inaugurated just one day earlier, together with the newly appointed faculty leadership: Vice Dean I Sri Rahayu Sanusi, S.K.M., M.Kes., Ph.D.; Vice Dean II Dr. Isyatun Mardhiyah Syahri, S.K.M., M.Kes.; and Vice Dean III Dr. Sri Malem Indirawati, S.K.M., M.Si. The event was also attended by the Head and Secretary of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health, as well as the Heads and Secretaries of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Public Health Sciences. Wanda Dara Aqila, from the Reproductive and Family Health concentration, was recognized as the Best Graduate of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health with a cumulative GPA of 3.94. Annurul Badri was named the Best Graduate of the Master's Program in Public Health Sciences with a GPA of 3.93, while Mira Gusweni received the distinction of Best Graduate of the Doctoral Program in Public Health Sciences, achieving an outstanding GPA of 3.99. In her remarks, the Dean encouraged the graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater, remain adaptable in an ever-changing world, embrace lifelong learning, and become pioneers in advancing public health and improving the health status of communities. As of this graduation period, FKM USU has produced a total of 8,953 undergraduate alumni, 2,246 master's alumni, and 77 doctoral alumni, reflecting its longstanding commitment to developing competent public health professionals and leaders.
