Medan - FKM USU: The Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU) held a workshop to prepare the 2020–2024 Strategic Plan (Renstra) for work units within the faculty. The three-day workshop (August 27–29, 2020) was conducted at the Gaharu Room, Grandhika Hotel Medan, and officially opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. This event was part of the strategic plan preparation process for work units within FKM USU. The developed strategic plan aligns with the 2020–2024 USU Strategic Plan, establishing an international standard in its vision. The preparation process involved all leadership elements, lecturers, academic staff, and stakeholders. Additionally, experience-sharing sessions were held, featuring guest speakers from the Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Universitas Airlangga (UA), which have previously established internationally standardized strategic plans. The strategic plans produced for the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs and the faculty will serve as guidelines for the academic community and staff of FKM USU in realizing the vision, mission, and objectives set for 2020–2024. The vision of FKM USU for 2020–2024 is "To become an Internationally Standardized Faculty in Advancing Public Health Science in the Tropical Regions."
