Medan - FKM USU: Ethics in research has become a prerequisite for scientific publication in national and international journals. Recognizing the importance of research ethics, FKM USU held a webinar on "Ethical Clearance in Health Research" on Monday, June 21, 2021, with two guest speakers: Prof. Dr. Rustika, S.K.M., M.Si. (Head of the Ethics Committee for Health Research, Agency of Health Research and Development, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia) and Prof. Dr. dr. Arlinda Sari Wahyuni, M.Kes. (Secretary of USU Health Research Ethics Committee). The event was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, who, in her opening speech, stated that the purpose of the webinar was to enhance the understanding of the FKM USU academic community regarding the role of ethical clearance in health research. The webinar was moderated by the Vice Dean III of FKM USU, Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D. This webinar was attended by FKM USU's academic community, as well as other lecturers and students from various health faculties across Indonesia. Participants showed great enthusiasm by actively asking the guest speakers questions.
