Medan – FKM USU: The Undergraduate Program in Nutrition of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU) organized a table manner class at Hotel Grandhika Medan on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The activity was attended by 33 students, accompanied by seven lecturers from the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition.
The session featured Pamadi Wira Pamungkas, Executive Chef of the hotel, who served as the keynote speaker. He provided comprehensive guidance on table manner etiquette, covering the proper use of cutlery, the types of dishes served, as well as appropriate seating posture and communication during formal dining occasions.
During the class, the hotel prepared a three-course menu consisting of an appetizer, main course, and dessert, allowing students to directly practice formal dining procedures in a professional setting.
