Medan – FKM USU: The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for Bachelor of Public Health and Bachelor of Nutrition Study Programs at the Faculty of Public Health, USU in 2025 will be held for 3 (three) days, August 13 – 15, 2025. There are 463 new students who have re-registered, consisting of 370 students from Bachelor of Public Health Study Program and 93 students from Bachelor of Nutrition Study Program. The opening ceremony of PKKMB 2025 began with an opening at the USU level by Rector of USU Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S. Sos, M.Si., at the USU Mini Stadium. After the official handover of students by the Rector to the Dean, PKKMB was then held at FKM USU. FKM USU Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M. Si., in her welcome speech, not only congratulated the new students but also conveyed important messages to equip them for entering higher education. Students are expected to be able to manage themselves to process well in their education and become pioneers in public health, in accordance with the theme: "Step In, Stand Out: Be a Pioneer in Public Health." In this PKKMB 2025 activity, new students were given material on National Insight and Leadership, Core Values of the Digital Era, the Higher Education System in Indonesia and Learning at USU, Higher Education Transformation in the Digital Era, the Industrial Revolution, and Society 5.0: Strengthening Academic Literacy and Innovation, as well as Environmental Awareness and a Healthy Campus.
