Medan - FKM USU: The Field Learning Experience (PBL) program for FKM USU students during the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year was conducted in Langkat Regency. A total of 214 FKM USU students participated in the 10-week program, held from August 26 to November 2, 2019. This PBL program focused on maternal and newborn health, in collaboration with USAID Jalin and the Langkat Regency Government. The collaboration aims to contribute to reducing the high maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Langkat Regency. The assistance provided by FKM USU students to pregnant women, postpartum women, and neonates is hoped to have a positive impact on behavioral changes in families in improving maternal and child health.
