Medan – FKM USU: The Master’s Alumni Gathering themed “One Memorable Day, A Thousand Connections” was held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU) on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

The event brought together Master’s alumni from various cohorts and was attended by the FKM USU leadership, the Heads and Secretaries of the Undergraduate and Master’s/Doctoral Study Programs, professors, and lecturers of FKM USU.

On this occasion, the Secretary to the Director of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships (DIKG) USU, Arif Nuryawan, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., delivered a presentation on the role of alumni in supporting Universitas Sumatera Utara’s ranking as a World Class University (WCU).

In her remarks, the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si., encouraged Master’s alumni to maintain strong engagement with their alma mater, particularly in supporting Universitas Sumatera Utara’s efforts to achieve World Class University (WCU) status.

During the gathering, the Master’s Alumni Association (IKA S2 FKM USU) was officially established. H. Letnan Dalimunthe, S.K.M., M.Kes., currently serving as the Mayor of Padangsidempuan, was elected as Chairperson.

The elected board members are:

Daily Chairperson: dr. Teren, M.Kes.
Secretary: dr. Dewi Chailaty, M.Kes.
Treasurer: Dr. Sri Novita Lubis, S.K.M., M.Kes.
