Medan – FKM  USU: 87 postgraduate students of FKM USU participated in the leadership training activity at the Sinabung Berastagi Hotel on October 23, 2021. This activity is an annual routine program of the Master and Doctoral Program in Public Health Sciences of FKM USU, aiming to strengthen the interaction of the academic community in building a conducive academic atmosphere. The activity was opened by Vice Dean I of FKM USU, Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M.Kes, accompanied by the Head of the Master’s and Doctoral Program, Dra. Nurmaini, M.K.M., Ph.D., the Secretary of the Doctoral Program, dr. Fazidah Siregar, M.Kes., Ph.D., and the Secretary of the Master’s Program, Dr. Drs. Kintoko Rochadi, M.K.M. Also present were lecturers and academic staff who manage the FKM USU postgraduate program administration.

In his opening remarks, the Vice Dean I said that the previous leadership training had to be temporarily stopped due to the pandemic. Hopefully, this activity can be beneficial and become a medium of transformation to shape mindset, increase creativity, enhance knowledge, have mutual understanding, increase self-confidence, and strengthen solidarity. The leadership training, organized by Medan Outbound, was filled with various group dynamic activities. The students were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity.  The Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, closed the event, hoping that  the experiences gained by the students through this activity would be reflected in their daily lives.
