Medan – FKM USU: FKM USU became a collaborator in the 1st Regional Lung Health and Tuberculosis Conference 2025 organized by the Malaysian Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis (MAPTB) in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) at the Grand Riverview Hotel Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, on June 29-30, 2025. The conference themed "Pioneering the Transformation of Lung Health Care" was opened by the Director of Kelantan State Health, Dato’ Dr. Zaini Bin Hussin, and attended by the President of MAPTB, Tuan Haji Masdah Enti, the President of MAPTB Kelantan, Associate Professor Dr. Nik Rosmawati Nik Husain, the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M. Si, and the Deputy Dean III of FKM USU, Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D. A total of four teaching staff and seven doctoral students from FKM USU participated in the conference. Prof. dr. Rahayu Lubis, M. Kes., Ph.D. was the keynote speaker, and three teaching staff from FKM USU served as moderators in the symposium sessions, namely Risanti Febrine Ropita Situmorang, S.K.M., M.Sc., Winni R.E. Tumanggor, S.K.M., M.P.H., and Izzah Dienillah Saragih, S.K.M. M. Epid. Seven doctoral students took the opportunity to present their research findings relevant to the conference theme.
