Medan - FKM USU: The Heads and Secretaries of the Undergraduate, Master's/Doctoral Study Programs, and the Head of Laboratory at FKM USU for the 2021-2026 period were inaugurated by the USU Rector, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si, during the inauguration ceremony held at the Bureau of Administration Center Building of Universitas Sumatera Utara on October 1, 2021. The newly appointed Head of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health is Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes, with Dr. Rusmalawaty, M.Kes as Secretary. The Head of the Master's/Doctoral Program in Public Health Science is Dra. Nurmaini, M.Kes, with Dr. Drs. R. Kintoko Rochadi, M.K.M. as the Secretary of the Master's Program, and Dr. Fazidah Aguslina Siregar, M.Kes., Ph.D. as the Secretary of the Doctoral Program. The newly appointed Head of the Laboratory is Dr. Ir. Gerry Silaban, M.Kes. The inauguration of these structural officials of FKM USU was attended by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si.

After the inauguration, the Rector congratulated the newly appointed officials and expressed hope that they would fulfill their duties well following the oath of office they had taken. In his speech, the Rector stated that the study programs are the front line in implementing education and are key to the quality of the faculty and university. Therefore, the study programs are expected to swiftly adapt the curriculum and teaching methods in line with ongoing developments to support collaboration between industry and higher education institutions. The Rector also emphasized that the heads and secretaries of the study programs must work closely with the faculty leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
