Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU acted as a co-organizer for the International Family Health (I-FaH) Conference, held by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MoH) on September 4–5, 2019, in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. The Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, participated as one of the plenary speakers, delivering a presentation titled "Dimensions of Women's Autonomy and Their Impacts on Mothers' and Children's Health." The Secretary of the Master's Program in Public Health Science at FKM USU, Destanul Aulia, SKM, MBA, Ph.D., also spoke at the symposium. The I-FaH Conference, themed "Health Intervention towards Community Wellness," was attended by approximately 200 participants and concluded with closing remarks from the Rector of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Prof. Datin Paduka Dato' Aini Ideris, FASc. Notably, drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes, a student from the Doctoral Program in Public Health Science of FKM USU, was awarded second place for Best Presenter during the conference.
