Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU held an Alumni Gathering at Savero Hotel Depok on Saturday, November 11, 2023. This event invited FKM USU alumni who have middle and top management positions at their workplaces across Indonesia. In her opening speech, the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, emphasized that the alumni gathering is a platform to foster effective communication with alumni and strengthen bonds. "Alumni are expected to participate actively in the growth of their alma mater," said Prof. Ida. She also explained that USU is undergoing an internationalization process that requires alumni support. The Vice Dean III of FKM USU, Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D, also discussed the Employer Reputation Tracker as an indicator for ranking USU globally. During the event, three alumni were honored with awards for their contributions to the development of FKM USU. The awardees were Benjamin Saut Parulian Simanjuntak, SKM, M.M. (Deputy Director of Actuarial Division at BPJS Kesehatan), Nagiot Cansalony Tambunan, SKM, M.PKP (Senior Policy Analyst at the Health Policy Development Agency, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia), and Lahmuddin Siregar, SKM, S.IP, M.IP (Assistant for Economy and Development at the Mentawai Regency Regional Secretariat). The Alumni Award was presented by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si.
