Medan – FKM USU: Doctoral Program students from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU), conducted a field study at the Medan City Manpower Office on Tuesday (April 7, 2026). The group of students, accompanied by a team of lecturers—Prof. Dr. Ir. Gery Silaban, M.Kes., Dr. Drs. R. Kintoko Rochadi, M.KM., and Dr. Arfah Mardiana Lubis, S.Psi.—was received by the Acting Head of the Medan City Manpower Office, Ramaddan, S.K.M.
 

This field study is part of the learning process for the course “Occupational Safety and Health Promotion,” aimed at enriching students’ understanding of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) programs at the local government level. Direct interaction with practitioners and policymakers is expected to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom and real-world practices in the field.
