Medan – FKM USU: The Integrated Student Achievement Center (Puspita) of the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) at the University of North Sumatra (USU) held a career development seminar with the theme “Leading with Purpose: Inspiring Future Professionals in Public Health” on Monday (November 24, 2025) in a hybrid format. The event, remarks opened by the Head of the Bachelor of Public Health Program, Dr. Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes, was attended by FKM USU graduates who will participate in the first graduation ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year. The speakers were FKM USU alumni, namely: Ariyanto Tinendung, S.K.M (Chair of the Dairi Regency KPU) and Faisal Hutama Putra, SKM., M.M. (Head of the Padang Branch of BPJS Kesehatan). Ariyanto Tinendung, S.K.M., emphasized the importance of building networks, professionalism, adaptability, and a desire to continue learning. According to him, these skills should have been developed since the graduates were students. They can be strengthened through internships, seminars, training, and courses, either independently or affiliated with government programs. Speaker Faisal Hutama Putra, S.K.M., M.M., emphasized the importance for graduates to have basic skills in public health, public speaking, foreign languages, and graphic design as public health professionals in the workplace. The event, moderated by FKM USU lecturer Fitri Khairani, SST., M.K.M., received enthusiastic participation from the graduates.
