Medan – FKM USU: The Integrated Student Achievement Center of the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Career Development Seminar with the theme "Bridging the Gap: Professional Excellence in Public Health", Monday (May 4, 2026) at the Faculty of Public Health Auditorium. The activity was officially opened by the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health, Dr. Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes, and moderated by a lecturer of the Faculty of Public Health, Fithri Handayani Lubis, M.Kes. The speakers were Faculty of Public Health Alumni, namely Riswandi Koto, S.K.M., M.Sc., Head of the Primary Health Services Section of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office, and Frans Yosep Sitepu, S.K.M., M.P.H., Health Administrator of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office. This seminar aims to prepare Public Health undergraduate graduates to enter the workforce. In the sharing session, Riswandi shared tips for successful career development, both internally (strengthening individual capacity) and externally (opportunities and challenges in the workplace). At the same time, Frans explained career orientation and readiness in government. All Public Health undergraduate graduates who will graduate in Term III of the 2025/2026 academic year participated in the event.
