Medan - FKM USU: The Master's and Doctoral Programs in Public Health Science of FKM USU held a Curriculum Evaluation Workshop on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Hotel Grandhika Setiabudi Medan. The event, which was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, was attended by lecturers involved in both study programs' teaching and learning process. In her speech, Prof. Ida emphasized that the curriculum of the Master's and Doctoral Programs needs to be adjusted to the current situation. "We all know that the world today has undergone significant changes, which undoubtedly affect the competencies required in the workforce for our graduates," said Prof. Ida. In her presentation, the Head of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Public Health Science of FKM USU, Dra. Nurmaini, M.K.M., Ph.D., explained that curriculum revisions for the two programs had been done through focus group discussions (FGD) with stakeholders such as professional organizations, alumni, and FKM USU's partners. "In addition, we also received input from assessors during the accreditation process in July 2023," said Nurmaini.
