Medan - Faculty of Public Health USU: FKM USU held a webinar on "Covid-19 Prevention from the Perspective of Environmental Health" on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. The guest speakers for this webinar were Dr. Ling. Ir. Tri Joko, M.Si. (Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health of FKM UNDIP) and Dr. Putri Chairani Eyanoer, MS.Epi., Ph.D. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine USU). The event was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si., and was attended by 1,021 participants. Some key points delivered by the speakers highlighted that the current situation remains under COVID-19 alert status. Controlling risk factors is essential through an epidemiological approach and public health surveillance. Maintaining personal hygiene to prevent COVID-19 is crucial, including washing hands with soap and maintaining personal cleanliness. The session was moderated by Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes, a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health of FKM USU.
