Medan - FKM USU: A training on writing scientific articles to improve the quantity and quality of international publications was held at the FKM USU Auditorium on Thursday, June 16, 2022, with FKM USU faculty members as participants. The trainers for this session were Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D. (Vice Dean III of FKM USU), who delivered the topic "Faculty Performance in Research and Publication," Secretary of the USU Research Institute, Prof. Dr. Syafruddin Ilyas, M.Biomed, who presented on "Tips for Passing Talent Research and Achieving Reputable Journal Outcomes," and Syafriandi, S.T. from the USU Research Institute, who discussed "Research Management in the BIMA (Basis Informasi Penelitian dan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat) System." In her opening speech, Vice Dean I of FKM USU, Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M.Kes. emphasized that faculty members must have publications aligned with their workload. "This training is essential to enhance our ability to prepare scientific articles for publication in national and international journals," she said.
