Medan - FKM USU: The ability to process and analyze secondary data in the field of public health needs to be strengthened among lecturers and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU). To address this issue, a virtual training session on processing and analyzing secondary data in health fields was held over two days (April 6–7, 2021). The event featured Dr. Siti Khadijah Nasution, S.K.M., M.Kes., Dr. Juanita, S.E., M.Kes., and Dr. Ir. Erna Mutiara, M.Kes., all of whom are lecturers at FKM USU, as guest speakers. While Winni R.E. Tumanggor, S.K.M., M.P.H moderated this event. The training was attended by lecturers and postgraduate students of the Master's and Doctoral Programs at FKM USU. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. In her opening speech, the Dean expressed her hope that participants would use the training to enhance their ability to utilize secondary data in their research. She acknowledged that the use of secondary data in research at FKM USU is still relatively limited. "Therefore, this training serves as a momentum to strengthen the research output of students and lecturers," she said.
