Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU, in collaboration with the Population and Family Planning Control Agency (PPKB) of North Sumatra Province, conducted a thematic Field Learning Experience (PBL) briefing for Field Supervisors of FKM USU on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the FKM USU Auditorium. The event was opened by the Head of PPKB North Sumatra Province, Dr. Tengku Amri Fadli, M.Kes., who, in his speech, stated that the thematic PBL focusing on accelerating the reduction of stunting is a form of collaboration between FKM USU and the PPKB Agency of North Sumatra Province. “We hope that students can act as our extension to assist communities in preventing stunting,” he said. Three speakers delivered the briefing: FKM USU Professor, Prof. Drs. Heru Santosa, M.S., Ph.D.; Coordinator of Training and Development of BKKBN North Sumatra Province, Dra. Tengku Lafalinda, M.Pd.; and Widyaiswara of BKKBN North Sumatra Province, Dedi Iswandi, S.Sos., M.IP. The event was attended by the Vice Deans of FKM USU, field supervisors, and the team from PPKB North Sumatra Province. A total of 294 students are set to participate in this thematic PBL, which will be distributed across six regencies/cities, namely Medan City, Binjai City, Tebing Tinggi City, Langkat Regency, Batubara Regency, and Asahan Regency.
