Medan - FKM USU: The second series of FKM USU's international Community Service (PPM) program took place on November 2, 2020, in the form of a counseling session with the theme "Efforts to Prevent Covid-19 in Public Places" at the FKM USU Auditorium. The target audience for the counseling included managers of food establishments, religious place administrators, vendors at traditional markets, and youth groups in Medan. This PPM activity was also held online in collaboration with a community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who also acted as guest speakers: En Kamrollzaman Mohd Usa (COMBI Volunteer Force Sg Ramal Zone 7) and Haji Ahmad Kidzbullah Bin Haji Ridzuan (Nazir of Masjid Sungai Ramal Luar Kajang Selangor). There were also Indonesian guest speakers, including Drg. Arief Rosyid Hasan, MKM, the Secretary-General of Dewan Masjid Indonesia, and Ir. Etti Sudaryati, MKM, Ph.D., Head of the Master’s and Doctoral Program in Public Health Science of FKM USU. The speakers shared experiences from both countries related to the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly concerning various efforts undertaken to prevent the spread of the virus.
