Medan – FKM USU: Faculty of Public Health Universitas Sumatera Utara organized the Public Health Career Expo on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the FKM USU Auditorium under the theme “GROWING CITA – Guiding Readiness and Opportunities for Work while Inspiring Career Aspirations in Public Health.”
The event aimed to prepare public health students to become more ready and competitive in entering the professional workforce. The program was attended by students of FKM USU and officially opened by Dr. Umi Salmah.
The keynote speaker was Tesalonika R.M. Panggabean, an alumna of FKM USU who currently works as a Brand Ambassador at PT SalesWorks Group, a company specializing in sales activation and direct sales-based marketing strategies.
During the session, the speaker delivered educational materials related to non-conventional career trends in public health, personal branding techniques, strategies for succeeding in recruitment within the health sector, competitive CV development, and the creation of professional LinkedIn profiles.
A total of 81 participants attended the event with high enthusiasm. Through this activity, participants gained practical insights, improved skills in preparing career-related documents, and a better understanding of strategies for entering the workforce in the field of public health.
