Medan - FKM USU: Total of 399 new students of FKM USU in 2024 participated in the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) event at FKM USU, held from August 13 to 15, 2024. Among them, 366 were students from the S1 Public Health program, while the remaining 33 were students from the S1 Nutrition program. The PKKMB event at the university level was opened by the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si, at the USU Mini Stadium, while at FKM USU, it was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. PKKMB is an event organized for new students to provide an orientation about university life. In addition to information on faculty organizations, facilities, and infrastructure supporting education, new students were also given various materials such as National Insight, Core Values in the Digital Era, Indonesia's Higher Education System, Higher Education in the Industrial Revolution Era, Environmental Awareness, Healthy Campus, as well as Intellectual Character and Anti-Violence. In her speech, Dean of FKM USU Prof. Ida emphasized the importance of students' mental adaptation in entering higher education.
