Medan - FKM USU: A total of three FKM USU students from the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program, namely Muna Bilqis Azzah Afanin, Revi Syahira Parinduri and Yessy Charissa Br. Nainggolan took part in International Mobility Student (IMS) activities at Namseoul University, South Korea. Before leaving, the three of them met the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, who was accompanied on that occasion by Deputy Dean III Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D and Head of Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes. The three students will be at Namseoul University from 2 September 2024 to 23 December 2024. IMS is part of the Enhancing Quality Education for International University Recognition (EQUITY) program, a program under the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology which aims to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia is world class. Before departure, students were provided with a Korean language course by USU and took a series of health tests. While participating in the program, students attend lectures on Understanding Korean Society, Global Communication Skills and Human Relationships, Korean Speaking, Global Multiculturalism in a Global Era, Korean Writing and Korean Listening. Students are also invited to visit various places in South Korea such as Hwaseong Fortress, Kyunghee University, Gyeonggi-do, Myeongdong street and Flea Market. All activities participated in by students will be recognized by the fifth semester courses they are currently undertaking at USU.
