Thumbnail International Guest Lecture – Undergraduate Program in Public Health

Medan – FKM USU: Five lecturers from foreign universities will be guest lecturers in the Undergraduate Program in Public Health at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara in November 2025. Four lecturers are from the Faculty of Public Health, Naresuan University, Thailand, and one from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, Canada. The lecturers from the Faculty of Public Health, Naresuan University, Thailand are Romnalin Keanjoom, M.Sc., Ph.D. (teaching the course "Epidemiology of Tropical Infectious Diseases"), Assistant Professor Dr. Worawit Inchom (course "Fundamentals of Environmental Health"), Assistant Professor Dr. Waraporn Youngiam (course "Public Health Nutrition"), and Assistant Professor Dr. Totsapon Butmee (course "Ergonomics and the Work Environment"). The lecturer from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, Canada, is Dr. Shafi Bhuiyan, MBBS, MPH, MBA, Ph.D., who teaches the "Global Health" course. The five lecturers taught three online sessions via Zoom. This guest lecture aims to support USU's achievement of becoming a World Class University (WCU).
