Thumbnail Inauguration of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of FKM USU for the 2025/2026 Period

Medan - FKM USU: The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKM USU) for the 2025/2026 period was officially inaugurated by Vice Dean I Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M, M.Kes on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the FKM USU Auditorium. A total of 6 DPM FKM USU administrators were inaugurated, with Alton Frederic Simatupang as chairman and Bintang RB Simanjuntak as vice chairman. In her speech, the Vice Dean I emphasized that the SRC of Public Health at the Universitas Sumatera Utara is not only an organizational mandate but also a moral mandate, so it is hoped that the board members can become representatives of the students' voices that are honest, objective, and inclusive, as well as facilitators of dialogue to maintain a conducive and productive academic climate. The SRC board is also expected to be a driving force for innovation in student activities and a strategic partner for the faculty in building a healthy, participatory, and integrity-based academic culture. The inauguration was solemnly witnessed by representatives of student organizations within FKM USU.
