Medan - FKM USU: The Alumni Association (IKA) of FKM USU for the 2022-2026 term was inaugurated by the Secretary General of IKA USU, Ir. Ikhsan, at Raz Plaza Conventional Hotel Medan, on October 2, 2022. The newly inaugurated board members of IKA FKM USU include Edi Subroto, S.K.M., M.Kes., as Chairman; Buyung Raja Batak Daulay, S.K.M., MAP, as Secretary; and Dhani Syahputra Bukit, S.K.M., M.K.M., as Treasurer. The Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si., who attended and delivered a speech at the inauguration, emphasized the importance of IKA FKM USU in ensuring the sustainability of FKM USU. “IKA is an entity expected to support the educational processes conducted by FKM in producing high-quality graduates who can meet the workforce demands,” said Prof. Ida. She noted that alumni performance in the workforce is a barometer for the quality of education provided by FKM USU. Therefore, Prof. Ida expressed her hope that the network and communication between alumni and faculty will continue to be maintained and strengthened. Edi Subroto, M.Kes., the Chairman of IKA FKM USU, expressed his hope in his speech that the new board would collaborate with relevant parties to enhance IKA FKM USU’s contributions to public health development. Edi also highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and a spirit of cooperation among alumni to achieve shared goals.
