Medan - FKM USU: Nutrition Undergraduate Study Program of FKM USU conducted field practice at Syifa Hydroponics, Thursday (30 November 2023). This activity is part of the course "Food Sovereignty and Security" with lecturer Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D. During this visit, Syifa Hydroponics invited students to directly observe the hydroponic system being implemented, explaining hydroponic techniques, selecting plant nutrients, water management, and other aspects that contribute to the sustainability of this system. Hydroponics can be a solution in increasing plant productivity, especially in the context of nutrition and food. According to Etti Sudaryati as instructor, the field activity aims to provide students with insight into food security amidst the dynamics of modern agriculture.
