Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU held the peak of the 31st FKM USU Anniversary on Wednesday (12 December 2024) at the FKM USU Campus, Jalan Universitas 21. The anniversary was attended by USU Vice Chancellor III Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S. Si, M. Si, Apt, Prof. dr. David H Simanjuntak who is one of the founders of FKM USU, the 5th Dean of FKM USU dr. Ria Masniari Lubis, M. Si, partners, and the academic community of FKM USU. The peak event was filled with a scientific oration delivered by Prof. Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D with the oration title ‘No Hunger Through Strengthening Family-Based Food Security in Stunting Prevention’. In addition, the anniversary was also enlivened with various activities such as bazaars, health checks through Posbindu Non-Communicable Diseases carried out by joint health centers in Medan City, namely Puskesmas Simalingkar, Puskesmas Medan Sunggal, Puskesmas Selayang, Puskesmas Padang Bulan, and Puskesmas Tuntungan; blood donation organized by H. Adam Malik General Hospital; and the awarding of prizes to the winners of various competitions held in order to enliven the 31st Anniversary of FKM USU. Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M. Si in her annual report, conveyed various achievements obtained in the implementation of Tridharma during 2024, including the addition of 3 FKM USU Professors. Vice Rector III of USU Prof. Dr Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S. Si, M. Si, Apt in her speech expressed her appreciation for the various achievements obtained while hoping that FKM USU will continue to improve its quality in the future.
