Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU and the Faculty of Medicine of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) collaborated to hold a health seminar themed "Update on Stunting Among Children in Indonesia and Malaysia" on Friday (19 May 2023) at the Multipurpose Room 1, Faculty of Medicine, UKM. The seminar was attended by 27 postgraduate students from FKM USU and students from the Faculty of Medicine, UKM. The guest speakers for the event were Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si (FKM USU), Ir. Etti Sudaryati, MKM, Ph.D. (FKM USU), and Prof. Zaleha Md Isa (UKM). This seminar was a joint program to exchange information regarding the stunting situation in both countries. In her opening remarks, the coordinator representing the Faculty of Medicine, UKM, Professor Dr. Aniza bt Ismail, stated that the collaboration between UKM and USU is very positive in providing insights to students regarding increasingly complex global health issues. In her speech, the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si, hoped that the collaboration between USU and UKM would benefit both parties in contributing to solving public health problems.
