Medan – FKM USU: The Undergraduate Program in Nutrition, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a guest lecture in November 2025 featuring two lecturers from the School of Food Safety, College of Nutrition, Taipei Medical University. The invited speakers were Prof. Jung-Su Susan Chang, who teaches the course Nutrition Surveillance, and Wei-Ju Lee, Ph.D., who teaches Industrial Food Quality Regulation.
Each course was delivered in three sessions and facilitated by a lecturer from the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition, Risanti Febrine Ropita Situmorang, SKM, M.Sc. The activity was attended by 32 fifth-semester students of the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
This guest lecture forms part of the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition’s strategic efforts to support the achievement of World Class University (WCU) assessment indicators. In addition, the activity aimed to broaden students’ academic perspectives and enhance their learning experience through direct interaction with international experts in the field of nutrition.
