Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU student Yesika Katarina participated in the 2022 Safe Cosmetics Ambassador competition as part of the BPOM Goes to School/Campus Program organized by the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) on Monday-Tuesday (May 30-31, 2022) at Grand Mercure Hotel Medan. This activity was an initiative by BPOM to empower young generations to create excellent and advanced human resources that can act as influencers within their communities, helping them avoid hoaxes related to drugs and food. The selection process began with administrative screening, resulting in 30 candidates for the Safe Cosmetics Ambassador title, including high school (SMA/MAN) students and university students from North Sumatra Province. These candidates participated in technical training, received education and information about BPOM Medan's profile, learned clever ways to choose safe cosmetics under the motto "Check Click," how to use the BPOM Mobile and EsKoS applications, and participated in public speaking training. Yesika, representing FKM USU, was awarded the Most Favorite Safe Cosmetics Ambassador 2022.
