Medan – FKM USU: FKM USU expanded its network of inter-institutional collaboration through the signing of three Memoranda of Agreement (MoAs) on Tuesday (June 9, 2026). The agreements were established with Institut Kesehatan Sumatera Utara, the Faculty of Health of Universitas Efarina, and the Faculty of Health Sciences of Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. The three MoAs were signed by the Dean of FKM USU, Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M.Kes., together with the leaders of the respective institutions, namely the Dean of Institut Kesehatan Sumatera Utara, Bd. Lusiana Lusia Sirait, S.S.T., M.Keb.; the Dean of the Faculty of Health of Universitas Efarina, Rovina E. Barus, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep.; and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu, Ns. Berlian Kando Sianipar, S.Kep., M.Kes., Ph.D. These agreements serve as a foundation for strengthening collaboration in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, covering education, research, and community service. This collaboration also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, Partnerships for the Goals, through the strengthening of networks, knowledge exchange, and capacity building among institutions. Through this collaboration, the participating higher education institutions are expected to further enhance their contribution to the development of education and scientific knowledge, while also generating various joint activities that are beneficial in addressing public health needs and challenges.
