Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU added 3 (three) professors, namely Prof. Ir. Etti Sudaryati, M.K.M., Ph.D, Prof. Dra. Nurmaini, M.K.M, Ph.D, and Prof. Dr. Rahayu Lubis, M.Kes, Ph.D. The three were inaugurated at the inauguration ceremony for USU Professors which took place at the USU Student Hall, December 6, 2024, attended by USU Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si and members of the USU Board of Professors. On that occasion Prof. Etti delivered an inauguration speech entitled: “No Hunger through Strengthening Family-Based Food Security in Stunting Prevention”; Prof. Nurmaini delivered a speech “Achieving the SDGs in Guaranteeing a Healthy Life and Improving the Welfare of the Whole Population Through Community Empowerment”; while Prof. Rahayu delivered a speech with the title: “Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases: Challenges and Prevention Efforts to Achieve Public Health”. The three of them increased the number of professors at FKM USU to 9 (nine) people. Prof.'s expertise Etti is Food Security and Nutrition; Prof. Nurmaini regarding Health Promotion and Community Empowerment in the Health Sector, while Prof. Rahayu is the Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases.
