Medan - FKM USU: A total of 20 students from the Master's Program in Public Health at FKM USU organized an academic visit to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from March 20-23, 2019, in Kuala Lumpur. One of the activities held was a joint community service between the students of the Master's Program in Public Health of FKM USU and the students of the Master's Program in Public Health of UKM, targeting the Orang Asli community in Kualapangsun with a program called "Jom Sihat." During the activity, health screenings were conducted for the Orang Asli community, along with handwashing education, personal hygiene, and a coloring competition for children. This community service collaboration between the students of both universities is part of the ongoing cooperation since 2016. FKM USU Dean, Prof. Dr. Ida Yustina, M.Si, actively participated in this international activity, accompanied by the Head of the Master's Program, Ir. Etti Sudaryati, MKM, Ph.D., and the Secretary of the Master's Program, Destanul Aulia, SKM, MBA, Ph.D. The "Jom Sihat" program, which means "Let's Live A Healthy Life," was initiated by Prof (Madya) Dr. Aniza Ismail as part of the health program planning and evaluation module for students of the Master's Program in Public Health of UKM.
