Medan - FKM USU: The Alumni Association of FKM USU held an online meeting on Saturday, April 10, 2021. The event, themed "Amplifying the Role of Alumni of the Faculty of Public Health of Universitas Sumatera Utara," featured three guest speakers who are FKM USU alumni: Dr. David Luther Lubis, S.K.M., M.Ked. (OG)., Sp.OG(K) (Head of AMPI North Sumatra); M. Yusuf Batubara, S.K.M., M.M. (Regional Secretary of Sibolga City); and Sony Efriandi, S.K.M., M.P.H. (Entrepreneur). Dr. Donal Nababan, S.K.M., M.Kes served as the moderator of this meeting. In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Alumni Association of FKM USU, Lahmuddin Siregar, S.K.M., S.I.P., M.I.P., M.K.M., mentioned that the meeting aimed to strengthen the bond between alumni and the academic community of FKM USU. The Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra Ida Yustina, M.Si, who gave a welcoming speech, said that this meeting should not only be a social gathering between alumni but also provide benefits to students studying at FKM USU. "On behalf of the faculty leaders, I am very pleased with this event, as the faculty and alumni are inseparable. As an institution, FKM USU requires the role of alumni to help advance the faculty in the future. Hopefully, communication, coordination, and collaboration will continue to be maintained effectively," said Prof. Ida. The event was enthusiastically attended by alumni and the academic community of FKM USU.
