Medan – FKM USU: Doctoral students from FKM USU conducted a field study at the Medan City Department of Manpower on Tuesday (April 7th 2026). The group, accompanied by faculty members Prof. Dr. Ir. Gery Silaban, M.Kes., Dr. Drs. R. Kintoko Rochadi, M.KM., and Dr. Arfah Mardiana Lubis, S.Psi., was officially received by the Acting Head of the Medan City Department of Manpower, Ramaddan, S.K.M. This field study was part of the learning process for the course Occupational Safety and Health Promotion, aimed at enriching students’ understanding of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs at the local government level. Through direct interaction with practitioners and policymakers, the activity is expected to strengthen the linkage between theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and real-world practice.
