Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU conducted a handwashing with soap (CTPS) education activity for the Pulo Brayan Kota Urban Village community on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The event, held at the Head of Neighborhood IX Office in Pulo Brayan Kota Urban Village, was part of the series of activities for the 28th Anniversary of FKM USU. This activity was attended by the 28th Anniversary Team of FKM USU, the FKM USU Assisted Village Team, the Head of the Neighborhood, and the community of Neighborhood IX Pulo Brayan Kota Urban Village.

The Chairperson of the 28th Anniversary Committee of FKM USU, Ir. Evi Naria, M.Kes, in her speech, stated that this activity is FKM USU’s contribution to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of higher education to the community as an effort to improve public health. In his speech, the Head of Neighborhood IX of Pulo Brayan Kota Urban Village, Ari Anggara, expressed his gratitude for the community service activity carried out by FKM USU. During the event, a CTPS (handwashing with soap) counseling and demonstration session was conducted by Izzah Dienillah Saragih, S.K.M., M.Epid., followed by a CTPS practice competition among the community. The community service activity concluded with the inauguration of the Duta Pasar Serasi, chosen by the Head of Neighborhood IX of Pulo Brayan Kota Urban Village.
