Medan - FKM USU: Three lecturers from FKM USU, namely Winni R. E. Tumanggor, S.K.M., M.P.H., Ir. Indra Chahaya, S., M.Si., and drh. Hiswani, M.Kes., along with one lecturer from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) USU, Rossy Nurhasanah, S.Kom., M.Kom, carried out a community service activity in Bogak Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency on Wednesday, 06 July 2022. This activity also involved two alumni and 12 Undergraduate Program in Public Health students of FKM USU. The community service, titled "Climate Change Adaptation Efforts through Children's Game Media Atteropoly," was conducted in Bogak Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency. Present at the event were the Village Secretary, the Head of the Miftahul Jannah Al-Qur'an Education House, and children from Bogak Village as the participants. The Village Secretary, Hanafi Suanda, opened the event, warmly welcomed the community service activity, and hoped that the participating children could apply the knowledge they had gained. The activity continued with a seminar on climate change adaptation through waste management and education through the "Atteropoly" game. The method used was a modified version of the Monopoly game, with content related to waste management as an effort for climate change adaptation due to the accumulation of waste in the environment. 64 children participated in the event, showing great enthusiasm for the game-based learning method. The activity concluded with the presentation of trophies to the best participants and gift packages and certificates to all the children who participated in the community service.
