Medan - FKM USU: Students of the Doctoral Program in Public Health Science of FKM USU conducted a community service activity in Pantai Cermin Kiri Village, Pantai Cermin Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai Regency, on June 9, 2022. The activity included counseling on exclusive breastfeeding for pregnant women and mothers with infants, as well as a simulation of oxytocin massage for pregnant women to increase breast milk production. Held at the Melati Posyandu (integrated service post) after the posyandu session, the event involved health cadres, pregnant women, and mothers with infants. The students began by delivering material, followed by a question-and-answer session, and conducted a live demonstration of oxytocin massage for the health cadres and pregnant women, who participated enthusiastically. They also provided refresher information about the posyandu program to the health cadres. In addition, a nutrition officer from the Pantai Cermin Public Health Center and the wife of the Village Head of Pantai Cermin Kiri were present. The activity was supervised by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si.
