Medan - FKM USU: A total of 372 new FKM USU students for the academic year 2022/2023 participated in the Campus Life Orientation for New Students (PKKMB) for 3 days (September 5-7, 2022) at the Green Campus of FKM USU. The opening ceremony of PKKMB FKM USU was conducted by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si., and was attended by the vice deans, as well as the heads and secretaries of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health and Undergraduate Program in Nutrition. This year’s PKKMB theme, “Surpassing the Limits of Creativity of the Smart Generation Towards a Smart Society,” new students participated in various activities to shape their character during their transformation into university students, including fostering a spirit of active learning. In addition to receiving multiple materials presented by FKM USU leaders and lecturers, outstanding students such as Tessalonika Panggabean, Eriska, Tarmizi, and Diana, as well as the Chairman of the FKM USU Alumni Association (IKA), Edi Subroto, SKM, M.Kes., gets the opportunity to motivate the new students. The closing event of PKKMB featured talent performances by new students and a group exercise session with the leaders and lecturers of FKM USU.
