Medan - FKM USU: BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of North Sumatra, in collaboration with FKM USU, organized the Employee Volunteering Program in the form of a seminar themed "Social Security for Indonesian Workers," held at the FKM USU Auditorium on December 2, 2019. The seminar featured Deputy Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for North Sumatra, Umardin Lubis, as a speaker, along with Chandra Satrya, M.D., M.App.Sc, a lecturer from the Occupational Safety and Health Department at Universitas Indonesia (UI), invited by FKM USU. The event was moderated by the Secretary of the Master's Program, Destanul Aulia, SKM, MBA, Ph.D.. It was attended by around 200 participants, including students and lecturers from FKM USU, as well as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan staff from the North Sumatra region. The seminar aimed to enhance participants' understanding of labor protection regulations. In his opening speech, the Vice Dean III of FKM USU, Prof. Drs. Heru Santosa, MS, Ph.D., mentioned that this program is highly beneficial for students in preparing themselves for entering the workforce.
