Medan - FKM USU: A total of 111 FKM USU students consisting of 95 masters study program students and 16 doctoral program students took part in Basic Leadership Training at the Niagara Parapat Hotel, 8 - 9 September 2023. This Basic Leadership Training is a routine program of the FKM USU Masters/Doctoral Program which aims other than to build leadership students through group dynamics, also builds closeness between students, lecturers and educational staff. This activity, which was facilitated by "Medan Outbound", was attended by the Dean. Head of the Masters/Doctoral Study Program Dra. Nurmaini, M.K.M., Ph.D. in her speech when opening the evening event, she said that basic leadership training is a structured activity in the Masters/Doctoral Study Program that students must take part in. This activity is a forum for forming mindsets, creativity, self-confidence, solidarity, integrity, collaboration, and strengthening a sense of togetherness among the academic community. The Dean Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. in her speech, she hoped that the experience students gain in the program can be applied in everyday life.
