Medan - FKM USU: A total of 13 (thirteen) students from the Master's Program in Public Health of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), accompanied by Prof. (Madya) Dr. Aniza Ismail, made an academic visit to FKM USU for two days (July 6-7, 2019). The academic visit, themed "Toward Quality of Hospital Management Knowledge Exchange," included various activities such as a seminar at FKM USU and field visits to Mitra Medika General Hospital and Bromo Health Center in Medan City. The seminar at FKM featured four guest speakers: Ridesman, SH., M.Kes from the Health Office of North Sumatra Province; Dr. Irma, M.Kes from the Health Office of Medan City; Dr. Maliana, M.Kes from H. Adam Malik General Hospital; and Dr. Azwan Hakimi Lubis, Sp.A., M.Kes (Chairperson of PERSI North Sumatra). At Mitra Medika General Hospital, the students were received by the Hospital Director, Dr. Syahrial Anas, while at Bromo Health Center, they were welcomed by the Head of the Health Center, Dr. Tuti Sumarni, MARS. At both locations, the UKM students gained insights into the service systems implemented by each organization.
