Medan - Faculty of Public Health USU: In 2020, the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organized an international Community Service (PPM) activity in the form of a webinar series in collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The four-part series focuses on the theme of the Covid-19 pandemic. Given the pandemic, which prevents in-person community service activities, the program funded by the Community Service Institute (LPPM) USU is being conducted through webinars. The first session was on September 22, 2020, with the topic “COVID-19 Policy and Implementation Journey in Indonesia and Malaysia.” Four guest speakers contributed to the first webinar: Dr. Achmad Yurianto (Director General of Disease Prevention and Control, Indonesian Ministry of Health), Dr. Rohani Jahis (Public Health Medicine Expert, Malaysian Ministry of Health), Dr. Mohd Azman Bin Abbas (Director of UKM Health Center), and Dr. Syah Mirsya Warsi, Sp.U(K) (Director of USU General Hospital). The Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si., opened the webinar, which was attended by 374 participants.
